  1. Quotes and Bookings

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations or reschedules must be communicated in writing or by phone within the timeframe stated in your booking confirmation or contract.
Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs within the restricted period.
Elite Moving & Storage is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather, road closures, or other conditions beyond our control.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Preparing your items for transport in a safe and lawful manner.
  • Notifying us in advance about fragile, high-value, or hazardous items.
  • Being present (or designating an authorized person) at pickup and delivery.
  • Ensuring access to your property for moving equipment and vehicles.

Failure to follow these responsibilities may affect your claim rights or final costs.

  1. Liability and Valuation Coverage

Elite Moving & Storage provides standard coverage of $0.60 per pound per article, as required by federal law for interstate moves.
Customers may purchase additional valuation or third-party insurance for higher protection.

We are not liable for:

  • Damage to items not properly packed or prepared by the customer.
  • Loss of items not declared before the move.
  • Delays caused by weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
