Here is what you should know about your Local Estimate:
We are not a broker – We are a moving company.

This estimate is based on an hourly rate calculated by the size of the shipment and/or amount of items moved that was provided to us by the client.

The final cost will be based` on the actual amount of time used to move, plus the given travel time, at the hourly rate stated above. Minimum charge of 2½ hours of labor plus ½ an hour of travel time will apply.

Labor time starts when we arrive at pick up location and finishes when we are done working at the destination. (Driving time between pick up and destination is part of the labor time.) Plus the 1 time fee travel time for the drive between the office and your locations (travel time is a fixed charge).

This quote includes:
  • A professional Moving Consultant
  • Guaranteed hourly rate
  • Door to Door relocation
  • Loading and unloading
  • 1 fully equipped truck – 24ft or 26ft
  • Professional moving crew
  • Disassembly and reassembly of basic furniture
  • Padding of wooden, plastic, metal, upholstered & leather furniture with moving pads (tape is not included)
  • Free basic liability coverage of $0.30 per pound
  • Fuel, mileage and taxes

The pickup time listed is an estimated time of arrival of our movers to the pickup location. All the drawers should be empty when the movers arrive and no plastic bags will be accepted by the movers.

Some of the additional services available at an additional cost are:
  • Packing fragile items and/or boxes
  • Storage
  • Insurance (can be purchased through www.movinginsurance.com at least 2 days before the move)

We send a 24 ft. or 26 ft. truck for every move. If an additional truck is needed to complete the move, one can be provided, if available, at additional cost.

Payment Schedule

We require a $50.00 prepayment to insure your slot on our schedule (prepayment amount may be different for last minute moves). This prepayment is fully refundable to you in the event of cancellation up to 3 business days prior to your move date. ** The credit card that is used for the prepayment must be present at the time of the pickup so we could make a credit card slip for this deposit or alternative payment can be made instead.

The remaining balance should be paid at the delivery.

Form of Payment:

We accept money order, cashier’s check or cash and any major credit card with 3% convenience fee (credit card and the cardholder must be present).
